From wearable devices to smart homes and robotic assistants, the potential of AT to improve the quality of life of older adults is vast. Assistive Technologies (AT), in particular, have the potential to help older adults live more independently and comfortably by providing them with a range of services and support. In recent years, technology has become an increasingly important tool in addressing the challenges of ageing. As the number of older adults increases, so does the need for support systems to help maintain their independence and quality of life. Aging is often associated with a decline in physical and cognitive abilities, leading to increased dependency and reduced quality of life. The world's population is rapidly ageing, by 2050, it is estimated that people over the age of 65 will make up 16% of the world's population.
